Soori Next Film: Reportedly Gets ₹25 Crore Salary for Ravikumar’s Next

Soori’s next film with director Ravikumar is reportedly being made on a big scale, with the actor said to be receiving a ₹25 crore salary. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the upcoming Tamil film has already generated considerable interest due to its reported connection with the devastating 2015 Chennai floods.

The project is expected to be one of the biggest films in Soori’s career, with reports suggesting that its overall production cost could cross ₹50 crore.

Soori Next Film with Ravikumar

Soori’s upcoming collaboration with director Ravikumar has become one of the more talked-about projects in Tamil cinema. While the makers have not revealed the complete story, the film is reportedly set against the backdrop of the 2015 Chennai floods.

The official announcement reportedly featured the intriguing tagline “Blood followed the flood,” creating curiosity about the film’s genre, storyline and connection to the events surrounding the Chennai floods.

The combination of Soori in the lead and Ravikumar at the helm has also raised expectations, particularly given Soori’s transformation from a popular comedian to a performer capable of carrying serious and performance-oriented films.

Soori Next Film Salary: ₹25 Crore?

One of the biggest talking points surrounding Soori’s next film is his reported remuneration.

According to industry reports, Soori is reportedly being paid around ₹25 crore for Ravikumar’s upcoming film. If the figure is accurate, it would represent a significant increase in Soori’s salary and underline his growing market value as a leading actor in Tamil cinema.

However, it is important to note that the ₹25 crore Soori salary figure has not been officially confirmed by Soori, the director or Mythri Movie Makers. Therefore, the amount should currently be treated as an industry report rather than an officially confirmed remuneration figure.

Soori Salary and His Growing Market Value

Soori has undergone a major career transformation in recent years. After establishing himself as one of Tamil cinema’s leading comedians, he successfully transitioned into serious lead roles and earned appreciation for his performances.

With films built around strong subjects and character-driven performances, Soori has gradually established himself as a bankable lead actor.

The reported ₹25 crore salary for Soori’s next film could therefore indicate the actor’s increasing commercial value following his successful run as a protagonist.

Soori Next Film Budget Reportedly Crosses ₹50 Crore

Apart from Soori’s reported salary, the production scale of the film has also attracted attention.

The upcoming Ravikumar directorial is reportedly being made with a production budget of more than ₹50 crore. If confirmed, it would be among the most expensive films in Soori’s career.

A story connected to the 2015 Chennai floods could require extensive production work, including large-scale sets, locations, visual effects and technically demanding sequences to recreate the atmosphere and impact of the floods.

What to Expect from Soori’s Upcoming Film

The film is expected to showcase Soori in a different and challenging role. The reported flood backdrop and the announcement tagline suggest that the movie could combine an intense storyline with large-scale filmmaking.

For Soori, the project could be another important step in his evolution as a lead actor. His previous transition into serious cinema has established a different image for him, and this collaboration with Ravikumar could further strengthen that phase of his career.

With Mythri Movie Makers producing the project, expectations are also high regarding its scale and technical presentation.

Soori Next Film: ₹25 Crore Salary Still Unconfirmed

For now, the reports surrounding Soori’s ₹25 crore salary and the ₹50 crore-plus production budget remain unconfirmed.

The film’s complete cast, detailed storyline, official budget, Soori’s exact remuneration and release plans are expected to be revealed by the makers at a later stage.

If the reported figures turn out to be accurate, Soori’s next film with Ravikumar could become a significant project in the actor’s career, both in terms of scale and remuneration.
