When a slaughter-bound buffalo breaks loose, an entire hill village's hunt for it curdles into a frenzy that strips away every civilised pretence.
Director: Lijo Jose Pellissery
Cast: Antony Varghese, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sabumon Abdusamad
Lijo Jose Pellissery directs a near-wordless stampede of a film, all torchlight, mud and massing bodies, building to a final overhead shot that's pure cinema. Less a story than a controlled riot — exhilarating and unsettling.
