As the empire's fate hangs on a single throne, old wounds between a queen and the man she once loved decide who lives, who rules, and who is remembered.
Director: Mani Ratnam
Cast: Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha
Where Part I built the board, Part II moves the pieces with feeling. Nandini's heartbreak becomes the engine of the whole saga, and Mani Ratnam lets the melodrama breathe. The battles are handsome, but it's the close-ups that linger.

Watched this twice in theatres. The interval block alone is worth the ticket.

Honestly underrated. The score does so much heavy lifting here.
